Peer to peer education was held on 13.02.2013. from 14:00 to 16:00 at the center of the line Perpetuum Mobile, Banja Luka. Participants in the training were high school students. The total number of participants is 21. Perpetuum Mobile is Resource volunteer center that provides opportunities for young people to develop their potential and attend numerous training sessions and educational workshops.<\/p>\n
The main theme of education was the work of the Youth Board of Education and the Young Ambassadors of Reconciliation project. Through the two-hour lecture and power point presentation we passed through some of the most important topics such as: ethics and responsibility, history and human rights, Europe and reality, and the other.<\/p>\n
Participants were particularly interested in the institutions that we have had the opportunity to visit during the study visits and projects of the Youth Education Committee. The main topic of discussion was the topic of “History and Human Rights.” Participants in a particular high school were interested in learning more about the new history textbooks which talked about the professor Dubravka Stojanovic young ambassadors on one of the lectures. For them, it was very interesting and new discovery that there are universal history books that could be used in schools.<\/p>\n
Students are more interested in information about the lecturers at the seminar, and as we were encouraged to think critically. This peer education went well because of the diversity of the participants and their curiosity.<\/p>\n
