Organized by Youth Education Committee and British Embassy in Belgrade, on December 2012 was held the seminar for youth reconciliation ambassadors between nations of the region. In this seminar participated young people from Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina, andSerbia, where among them was also the UBT student Endrit Kadriu.During this program participants visited different political and non-governmental institutions in Belgrade, where they had the opportunity to talk with politicians, different organization leaders, and also to promote the cultural values of their countries. During the tight agenda of the visit, the participants from Republic of Kosovo, Bosnia, and Serbia debated for dissolution of Yugoslavia, wars in Kosovo and Bosnia, for European integration, and for non-violent solutions of the problems. Furthermore participants visited National Assembly of Serbia, Special War Crimes Persecution Court, and other institutions where there were many different debates. Participants from Kosovo promoted the Albanian cultural values of Kosovo, by taking traditional heats and foods, the Plis, Kanun of Lek\u00eb Dukagjini \u2013 where were shown the ancient values of \u201cBesa\u201d and hospitality among the Albanians, the national flag and the state flag, and also other different materials that identified the population of Kosovo in general.\u201cThis study visit was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences between people from the region, and an undisputable chance to make opened and constructive debates with politicians and other influential individuals in the political-social life of Serbia. Specifically to inform and encourage the interlocutors, to understand the mistakes of the past, with a special emphasis for the genocides and war crimes that were repeated few times in history\u201d \u2013 sad Endrit.\u00a0By the end of seminar the 20 participants from Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Serbia, were certified with \u201cYouth Reconciliation Ambassadors\u201d tittle, and so on being a youth reconciliation ambassador, on the purpose to work together in this direction, for as peaceful region.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
