Between coutries in the region for many years there are unfriendly relationships.<\/p>\n
I was part of the program Youth Reconciliation Ambassadors organized by NGO \u201c Youth Education Committee \u201c helped by United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
I had an opportunity together with my colleagues from three countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina , Serbia and Kosovo) to learn something about conflict in region through daily lectures.Lectures were held by speaker and profers from universities in area : Human rights , history , sociology , psychology etc.<\/p>\n
For me that was a big experience , I learned new things which ares significantly and a lot questions which interest me , but I had no one to ask , because people did not want to speak speacialy about war crimes and conflicts in region.The most special theme for me was war crimes , and visit to \u201c office of the war crimes \u201c where we were hosted by people who work there and show us , how that institution works.Also they show us a short movie about war crimes in region specialy in Srebrenica , Bosnia and Herzegovina , and in others parts of region.They also show us what they do , or what they did regarding war crimes.<\/p>\n
Hatred between people in region is specialy present in my country Kosovo or in my city Kosovska Mitrovica which is divided in two parts on Northern side ( Serbians ) and Southern side ( Albanians ).Situation between these two nationalities is very tense and Serbians can not go in the South , Albanias can not go in the North.Otherwise in Kosovo lives six nationality.Here is sometimes very hard for me , because I am Bosniak and some others Serbians linked me with Albanians because of religion , and Albanians linked me with Serbians because of same language.<\/p>\n
In Belgrade where this seminar was held also we visited other institution.Before others the United Kingdom ( UK ) embassy in which hosted us and answered on our questions , the Ambassador of United Kingdom ( UK ) in Serbia mr.Michael Davenport and other people who work in UK.<\/p>\n
Expect Office of the war crimes and United Kingdom ( UK ) Embassy , we were at Parlament of Republic Serbia , where they hosted us people who work there and esspecialy member of Parlament mr.Zarko Korac , who spoke to us about process of Serbia in European Union ( EU ) integration.He also told us about others topics and patiently listened and answered on our questions.<\/p>\n
Except these institutions I had opportunities to visit others institutions like Anti-Corruption Agency , the Commissioner for Protection of Equality , the Ombudsperson mr.Sasa Jankovic etc.<\/p>\n
Objective of this program is together to do something positive on the topic of reconciliation in region and others topics.Now is on me and all us which participated in this program to relay our knowledge to people from our contries through others activity which are we going to do ,throw medias , lectures and others ways.<\/p>\n
On this seminar I had opportunities to met people from others coutries and to<\/p>\n
make new friends. That was a beautiful experience for me.In the hotel we stayed there were good friendships.<\/p>\n
This was my first seminar about this topic , experiences like this are very beautiful ,I hope I will relay my knowledge to others people and I expect good results.<\/p>\n
