Institute for European Affairs is focusing on negotiations between Serbia and the EU as well as on strengthening the capacity of all sides involved in the process. Given the complexity and long duration of the process, the Institute brings together a large number of professionals and external experts with whom organises trainings, debates and other forms of capacity development. We want to contribute to enhanced understanding of Serbia-EU relations. The Institute provides multi-perspective trainings in order to enable active participation of professionals and citizens in the decision-making processes. The Institute actively advocates for fundamental reforms within the EU integration process and in cooperation with partners working on strengthening Serbia's capacity to face the challenges of the global world through collective action. The overall objective is active membership of Serbia in Euro-Atlantic framework for the benefit of all citizens.

Explain the reaction of the participants on your speech.

On first place reaction of honourable guest speakers was extremely positive, with compliments on good understanding of EU process and reconciliation process of the region. Same can be said for the students and professors from IUS since they beside honourable Ambassadors and EU representative had few questions for me, regarding certain points in my speech when it comes to development and stability of cooperation and relationship between ex-Yugoslavia countries.

Have you notice the impact of your lecture on the participants? Explain.

Yes, I did notice. A, lot of other discussion started since 22nd October 2014, participants are more interested in topic of reconciliation and even more they are ready to learn more in that filed and to work on it. Due to that huge interest of my colleagues I am already planning the 2nd edition of Youth reconciliation Ambassador event with the significant support of IUS.

What were the questions posed by the participants and how did you react?

Questions were based on my experience and knowledge gained on Study Visit to Belgrade, my perception of regional reconciliation process and EU integration process. I was more than proud and happy that I have opportunity to transfer my knowledge gained at YRA study visit to my colleagues, it was hard to answer on some question but I found my way. The most important thing is that all participants showed interest in being part of a change that our region needs.
