Institute for European Affairs is focusing on negotiations between Serbia and the EU as well as on strengthening the capacity of all sides involved in the process. Given the complexity and long duration of the process, the Institute brings together a large number of professionals and external experts with whom organises trainings, debates and other forms of capacity development. We want to contribute to enhanced understanding of Serbia-EU relations. The Institute provides multi-perspective trainings in order to enable active participation of professionals and citizens in the decision-making processes. The Institute actively advocates for fundamental reforms within the EU integration process and in cooperation with partners working on strengthening Serbia's capacity to face the challenges of the global world through collective action. The overall objective is active membership of Serbia in Euro-Atlantic framework for the benefit of all citizens.

David Sarcanski

David was born in Sombor were he entered from „Veljko Petrović“ high school, but he graduated from the „Serbian high school in Budapest“ in Hungary. Currently he is enroled at the the last year of Bachelor studies at Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade at the department of the international relations. During his studies, he was a participant of one year student exchange programme at the Institute for international relations, University of Warsaw in Poland.

Parallel with his studies, he has been working at the various locations through the youth cooperative centers, and he is member of few non-government organizations who are promoting the ideas of euroatlantic integrations, as well as the environmental protection and sustainable development. He volunteers at the Royal Palace where he helps the Royal family in their humanitarian actions for youth. He participated at numerous conferences and seminars through the non-government organizations of which he is member.

He speaks English language.
