Born in Krusevac, but grew up in Vrsac, where she finished high school “Borislav Petrov Braca”. During high school she gets a scholarship for A-SMYLE exchange program in the USA, where she gets familiar with volunteering and becomes active in non-governmental sector.
She studied international affairs at the Faculty of Political Science at Belgrade University. She spends the last year of her studies in the USA, at the University of Mississippi, where she has a chance to participate at the Model UN conference in New York, with notable success.
During studies she gets actively involved in A-SMYLE alumni community and participates in projects involving education of Roma children. At the same time she becomes the vice president of Student Union of Vrsac, where she coordinates two successful projects, whose themes included debating and local public policies. She is also a project coordinator of ”Vrsac Street Olympics”, a sporting event which gathers over 350 participants. Besides all that, she volunteered on various sporting and cultural events.
She believes that volunteering and informal education are necessary to complement formal education. It helps us to get to know ourselves and our interests, but also to compensate for the lacks of our formal education.
She plays volleyball, and in free time does photography.
