My peer2peer education was organized on 27.12.2012. in cooperation with European movement in Serbia and Generation 21. It was part of long term program “ Applied diplomacy “ , which lasts for 11 years so far. Every year “ Applied diplomacy “ program gathers around 30 international relations and international law students from University of Belgrade in order to give them practical advises and needed practical knowledge in the area of diplomacy and international negotiations.
I’m alumni of this program, since I was participant last year, as a member of jubilee 10th generation of the program. This year, I’m also active in program, but from the other side. I was hired as assistant coordinator for the project and I hope that this will be my entrance ticket into European movement in Serbia. Beside assistant coordinator duties, I was given permission to perform peer2peer education regarding reconciliation process in region with special emphasis on conflict resolution issues with peaceful means. This was first time for 11 years, that alumni of the program delivered speech in front of another generation as audience.
Participants were members of 11th generation of “Applied diplomacy “ program and peer2 peer education was organized in office of European movement in Serbia.
During the course of peer2peer education I first presented Youth Education Committee and ,, Youth reconciliation ambassadors “ project. After introduction, I based my speech on knowledge I have gathered during the Youth reconciliation ambassadors program. I spoke about reconciliation process and its ties to politics, economy and life of the ordinary people all around the region. After my performance, we had fruitful discussion, which lasted for almost an hour. The whole event lasted around hour and a half.
